Hot Tuna Sandwiches

1/3 lb. cheese (We used to use Velveeta, but now we use cheddar, and I usually wing the measurements)
4 hardboiled eggs, chopped
2 cans tuna, drained
2 tbls chopped onion
2 tbls chopped sweet pickles
2/3 cup mayonnaise
8 hotdog buns

Combine all ingredients, fill buns, microwave for 3 minutes.

This is a recipe from my mother’s mother.  Apparently my grandmother entered a recipe contest in her church either with this recipe or she got this recipe from the contest, Mom wasn’t sure.  This is one of our go-to meals when we just realized that we should be eating in less than 10 minutes and we happen to have all the ingredients handy.  Or you could make it like the recipe originally directs:
